Training starts today in the Estonian city of Tartu with the first of a cohort of specially selected probation and prison staff. The training is the first of a two week bloc focussing on a newly developed group programme from ignition, which looks at strength based active work with offenders who have a serious drug problem.
Dr Mark Farrall, Director, said "We are very much looking forward to this work, and the challenge of communicating the experiential group work skills, in translation. It is very rewarding that our association with the Estonian Ministry of Justice continues, and our programme was selected from an international field, for this two year pilot."
