Ignition has successfully delivered the foundation training in Collaborative Conversations: Brief Motivational Interviewing, for workplace representatives of the Royal College of Midwives (Wales).

The one day course is aimed at workplace Stewards, learning and development representatives and heath and safety representatives.

  • 100% of attendees rated themselves as satisfied or very satisfied with the training 
  • 89% rated the training as relevant or very revelant to their workplace representative role
  • 100% of delegates rated the training as very or totally useful to that role
  • Average score on whether delegates would recommend the training to other RCM colleagues was 8.4 out of 10

Dr Mark Farrall, Director, said "ignition has been involved in several projects where the wider workforce development  applications of MI beyond front line clinical work have been understood.
